Evidence & Impact

How we measure impact

C4P measures more than activities delivered. We seek to understand whether children and young people feel safer and more included, whether their participation is meaningful, whether adults respond appropriately and whether community relationships improve.

How we learn and report

  • Set clear outcomes and age-appropriate indicators before implementation.
  • Use participatory methods that are safe, voluntary and accessible.
  • Collect only information that is necessary for a clear purpose.
  • Disaggregate data only where safe, lawful and useful.
  • Report limitations and unintended effects honestly.
  • Use feedback to adapt activities and improve safeguarding.
  • Publish verified results with reporting period, location and methodology.

Reports and publications

C4P shares practical resources to help educators, community organisations, caregivers, young people and practitioners create safer opportunities to learn, participate and build respectful relationships.

  • Peace-education activities for different age groups.
  • Facilitator guidance for safe participation.
  • Safeguarding and referral tools.
  • Learning briefs on community peacebuilding.
  • Research and policy publications (Observatory).
  • Case studies from verified projects.
  • Tools for monitoring inclusion, participation and outcomes.
  • Youth and child-friendly summaries of reports.

All resources are reviewed for accuracy, age-appropriateness, accessibility, cultural sensitivity and safeguarding before publication and must not disclose sensitive operational information or identifying details about children.
